Ever since she was young, Martha Copeland has loved to draw. Sticking to a set of rules and her favourite colour palette, she create pictures inspired by female goddess type entities and wild animals. Characters from another world or a parallel universe, combining elements of nature with a cosmic edge. Mixing geometric shapes and patterns with organic forms. Her work is strong and bold, vibrant and meticluous, influenced by Parisian street art, Japenese pop art, vintage posters and tattoo art.
Martha is currently training as a tattoo apprentice at Beynur's Tattoos in Littleport, Cambridgeshire.
Alongside learning to tattoo and drawing as much as possible, Martha also works as a sign writer, a set & banner painter and also hosts the sideshow The Arcade of Fortune Tellers with Suffolk-based creative collective, Bear Gateaux.
